The impact of making connections while traveling is priceless! Truly, couchsurfing has become a motivation for travel, as I’ve found so much value in meeting locals - understanding their city/town, their experiences in the world, all this gives me so much new perspective.

I have a real appreciation for knowing exactly where I am. Meaning, wherever I go, I’m interested in who lives there, why, how, who came before them, and so on. What relationship do they have with the rest of the world? How does the regional geography shape their lives and culture? More importantly, what kind of food do y’all eat? 😋
