ABOUT ME

I don't know why I am having difficulty answering this question. So I posted this question on facebook and my friends said:

Interests

I am very passionate in every aspect of my life. I am a visual learner/visual designer. I went to school in Los Angeles, CA at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. I love to be involved with the arts; whether that be painting, sculpting, going to an art gallery, or making crafts. I graduated college with a Visual Communications major. I haven't decided what I want to do with my degree, but I would like to become an interior designer, visual merchandiser, set designer, or stylist.
Dancing has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I have studied ballet, jazz, hip-hop, ballroom, and I was also on my high school Dance Team. fashion major, and a part time model. I am extremely energetic, optimistic, and full of life.
I have two beautiful babies! When I say babies I am referring to my Chihuahua, Stanley and my Yorkie, Bella. They are like my children. I have always enjoyed caring for animals. When I was younger I lived in the country with horses, donkeys, cats, dogs, peacocks, and chickens. I had a blast caring for all my animals.
I also enjoy the outdoors. I love hiking, canoeing, boating, picnics, horseback riding, safaris, and simply lying in a field of flowers while the cool wind breeze sweeps over my face :).
I like to be adventurous and explore new places. Traveling has always interest me but I haven't had the financial means to do it and I have always been weary to venture out on my own. A friend told me about Couch-surfing and I thought I would give it a try :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in high school I had the opportunity to go to Spain with my Spanish class. We were traveling for two weeks. The first week we toured around as a group and the second week I had the delightful experience of staying with a host family. I think this is where I was bit by the travel bug and have had the urge to explore the world since. I had an amazing time visiting Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, and Valladolid.
I grew up in Minnesota. I thank Minnesota for the foundation of who I am but as soon as I graduated high school I needed to (for lack of better words) get the hell out of there. I moved out to Colorado for a little while and then settled in Los Angeles, CA to finish college. I have truly enjoyed being exposed to other cultures and lifestyles. I have so much more growing and exploring to do. I have a thirst for seeing the world and meeting like minded people.
