ABOUT ME

The first thing my friends and acquaintances say about me is that I am authentic. They also have said that I am courageous, strong and honest. I tend to take myself too seriously. I am an artist, photographer, parent, grandparent, hot yoga addict, survivor of near death experiences, a lots of other things, too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only stayed on one couch in Michigan when I presented at an academic conference.

Intereses

I practice and teach Bikram Yoga. I am cycling the rest of the time, to get everywhere, and sometimes long distance. While I cycle I collect metals off the street, rubber auto belts and flattened aluminum cans. Larger pieces of metal serve for future art projects, and smaller, for jewelry. I'm looking for research grants so I can continue researching. I specialize in the history of the Spanish language.
