i spent 1 week with antoine at his place in paris last year. it was super.

at the moment, la cite' des enfants perdus, V for vendetta,
music: black grass (a hundred days in one), fat freddy's drop, requiem for a dream soundtrack, I don't mind a good bit of sad or angry music. good electronic dance music is fun too.
I don't read so much but recently I really enjoyed shantaram by gregory david roberts. At the moment I am reading "into the wild" by jon krakauer which is a fantastic book.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

About 2 year ago a group of about 20 young tibetan cultural performers came to sydney. My dad, his partner, and myself volunteered to be their transport, as my dad has quite a passion for tibetan culture, and they were on a very tight budget. We picked them up from the airport, took them to and from all their shows, tour guided them around the sights, and drove them to visit the local tibetan community in sydney. They were the most beautiful, honest, generous, greatful, playful, smiling people I think I have ever met. Their show was amazing. Singing, dancing, costumes. I really didn't know whether I would enjoy it at all, but it was captivating. We spent a whole week with this group. The last night I drove 4 of the younger guys (about 20-24 years old) on the last part of the journey. They sang tibetan songs, we smoked endless cigarettes, we all sang english pop songs together in improvised harmonies, we laughed, and then when we got back to sydney we went to a club and danced into the morning. I miss them all. One of the best experiences of my life. Totally restored my faith in the goodness in people at a time when I was feeling a bit negative.
