About Me

Dancing through life:)

Burningman 2011, 2012, 2014 be continued until forever ends;) Bonnaroo, Lalapalooza, Atlin Music Fest...every cool event I can get my hands on I'm there. I LOVE music. I love dancing. I love humanity. Pick up and go is how I like to live but for the next two years I'm finally dedicated to one place to get my MA. But after that you bet I will be flying around the world again. Never thought I would hang my hat here for a while but I met the love of my life at Burningman2011 and...well that was just the beginning;)

I will try pretty much anything when it comes to extreme sports. The only thing really stopping me from doing that 24/7 is money. Right now I'm just lookin to meet and work with as many people as I can while still here in Calgary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS Chicago is the most amazing community of people. It has saved me in so many ways...physically and mentally. In Chicago the cs community was off the hook! Chicago couch crash, full moon fire jams, circus night, game nights, potlucks, various jam sessions, salsa I feel like we do life right in Chi-Town. The Calgary cs scene has been on point thus far too. It just makes sense that most of my friends and roommates happen to be csers as well.

I love to create and share new experiences with people. This is what we as CSers live for and let's face it...this will never change. We will always be drawn to the unknown. So buy that plane ticket, get on that horse and friggin go. I'm right there with you:)

Lots of the Unites States, Italy, Athens, Madrid, Barcelona, Nice, Poland, France, Ostia, Amsterdam, Nevada, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Skagway, AK, Whitehorse, BC, and finally Calgary, AB. Here in Calgary I finally have a place of my own and I'm just looking to host:)

Dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue, soca, bellydancing, swing, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, I love it all...teach me a new dance and I'm happy as can be:) I also love snowboarding, singing, biking, rollerblading, surfing (when I can stand up), camping, sports, writing, spoken word, open mic nights, festivals, road tripping, riding motorcycles, traveling, coffee dates, wine...I love the arts all of them. Finding good music has become a daily ritual for me. If you're into music lets swap artists. I'm gonna steal a quote here because it fits perfectly "My taste in music ranges from you gotta hear this to I know please don't judge me." Haha I love it all:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Ooo man there's a lot of them. Well have to talk about that later:)

Music: Jazz, salsa, bachata, merengue, hip-hop, R&B, rock, lyrical, 80's rock, indie, trance, house music, dubstep (a certain kind)... anything you can dance to. Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennit, Norah Jones, Regina Spektor, Circa Survive, Aventura!, Flogging Molly, Queen, Lady Gaga, Michael Franti, Beirut, Mumford & Sons...

Any Michael Crichton book, Left To Tell, Gomorrah by Roberto Saviano, Finding Everardo, Enrique's Journey..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to a Roma camp (gypsy camp) and it was definitely one of those life defining moments. It's just amazing to me how some people have next to nothing but are willing to give everything. I have never felt so welcome in my entire life. I didn't even speak the same language as the residents and they treated me like family. I could talk for days about the Roma...

Teach, Learn, Share

You'll probably end up learning how to 6 step, 4 step, 2 step, salsa or all or the above. We'll share stories over many cups of coffee/tea/ or beer/wine or tequila I'm sure:o ...haha ok maybe not cups of tequila but we'll have to find a happy medium.

What I Can Share with Hosts
