Going on a solo trip to Oslo in April 2018! Looking forward to long walks, beautiful views, incredible museums and hopefully stumbling upon some live jazz.

I'm a really positive, easy going person looking to explore new places and experiences. Right now, I'm living and working in Portland, OR. In the free-time, I enjoy riding my bike, going on hikes, eating vegan burritos, getting involved in my community, or playing video games.

I'd love to meet up with other members for fun adventures. I'm planning on traveling to Oslo next April, so I'm excited to meet locals/fellow travelers and find some cool places to visit.

Interests

I'm into almost anything outdoors, from hiking and backpacking to napping in a park. I enjoy playing disc golf, basketball, or a game of touch football. I don't play any instruments, but I have some beatbox chops that are always available! I love discovering live music, especially jazz and funk. I like meeting new people, discussing ideas, sharing stories and enjoying good company. I've also taken up mindfulness meditation over the last 6 months and would love to meet others with a similar mindset.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I'm jumping between many different books touching on Buddhism, philosophy, racial justice, and veganism.

With movies I'm pretty all over the place, I don't actively seek out movies to watch, so it's usually whatever random comes up on Netflix. Some favorites recently have been Robot and Frank, Box of Moonlight, and always The Warriors.

I can get into any music with a good groove that makes me wanna move (didn't mean to rhyme haha). Main genres include hip hop, jazz, funk, and any combination of the three!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and would gladly help with making meals. I'm vegan, but I know lots of good recipes and a veggie stir fry is always a good backup plan. I'm very flexible and don't mind helping out in other ways to earn my keep.
