ABOUT ME

I live for travel, music, books.....In a materialistic sense these are the things that keep me connected to the world and forever inspired. In an emotional and spiritual sense I live for the human-human, human-Earth connections. I have a very keen mind that is always seeking new discussions, new ways of living, new adventures, new ways of being human. I wonder about life, why we are here and like to talk to people who can teach me new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As with anything in life- remain completely open and fluid. Roll with the experience and the lessons that are constantly unfolding.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done much Couchsurfing except for a few nights in France in 2011. It was such a great experience with a couple of really friendly, helpful and interesting people and it is something that I would love to do more of.

Interests

Music, lots and lots of music, books, many, many books, travel, all sorts of travel..... The Earth in general and all inhabitants. There isn't much in life that doesn't engage my attention and keep me questioning and exploring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Simple moments keep me amazed. Like when you watch people doing every-day things in the city streets. The night I spent on the water in India. The moments spent on roof tops in Cuba. The fact that no matter how many times you see the sun rise or set it is always different. Small things in nature such as watching a bee in action or seeing the forest that sprouts up in your backyard when the lawn hasn't been mowed for a while. Seeing peoples small kindnesses to each other. The moment when you are struck by a piece of music that's got you all wrapped up. Simple sentences in grand books. Seeing love in motion. The small things in peoples lives that make us all so different and yet exactly the same. Being in motion through different countries by train, boat, bus, whatever, always leaves me totally awestruck no matter what I'm looking at because it's all a part of it all.
