Hi, I'm Jessie! Very new to this site and I'm hoping to meet new friends across the country. I live in Los Angeles and I work with the homeless population in Santa Monica. I'm very passionate about my job, but it is definitely stress inducing and self-care is highly encouraged in this field...which is why I've decided to plan a big trip.

At the start of this new year, I decided I needed to go out on more adventures and see a bit of the world. The biggest thing I want to do this year is my cross-country road trip from Los Angeles to New York. I've been talking about it for a few years now and this year, I'm taking action...no more talking about it. I envision this trip being one of great self-discovery and adventure.

Along my adventure, I'm hoping to stop off at the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Roswell, Austin, New Orleans, and leading my way up to New York City. My plans are still in the making so I'll be adding to this profile as things get planned...stay tuned!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning a cross-country road trip from LA to NY and it is very expensive, especially since I'm going solo. I heard about this website and I'm really hoping it will be the most cost effective way to make this trip a reality.
