ABOUT ME

I'm a third generation San Diegan and know my city pretty darn well. I spend a lot of my time at local coffeeshops and music/comedy venues. I drink too much coffee, get too little sleep, and am overly devoted to the people I choose as my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everyone should do whatever they can (without hurting anyone else) to be happy. Even if you're miserable while you're trying, at least it's living honestly.

I'm just getting started with getting involved, so I'm still learning...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Almost all of my couch surfing has been with relatives, though I have had friends make use of my home for anywhere from 1 day to 3 weeks at a time.

Live music, cats, pie, coffee, Disneyland (let me know if you want to go, I can get us in for free most of the time), the Zoo, love, art, sleep, and cuddling come to mind. Also, thoughtful discussions.

Independent movies and musicals top my list.

I mostly listen to my friends which are mostly folk-y types. Singer/songwriters. Indie pop rock. That kind of thing.

I love books. I've been enamored of Palahniuk and Vonnegut lately, but have also been getting into some of the classics. I also, guiltily love historical romances.

I used to be a labor doula. Watching someone be born is both disgusting and beautiful. Everyone should see it sometime in their life.
