I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and went to the beach pretty much every weekend, I was very active and was always enjoy life. I joined the military in 2006 and since then I have been living in the US. I love adventures, going to new places, meeting new people, but the military affected me a little bit in this area and now I just want to go back to be the person I was and want to enjoy meeting new people again and getting excited about going new places and hang out more. I want to reconnect, I want to connect with people, nature and myself. I want to regained that strength. I love adventure, but at the same time I am a quiet person and very reserved, I do talk a lot when I get along well with people, but overall I am the quiet type. I love learning about cultures and having new experiences. I'm sensitive and sensitive to other people's feelings and also understanding. I am very respectful and I demand the same respect back. I have an old soul, I love classics! I love the simpler times as well. I had the opportunity to travel the world in the military and I want to do that again, but of course in a different way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is a totally new experience for me, I have never done this and I don't know anyone that has done this either, that I know of. I want to travel the world and meet new people, reconnect and this seem like one way of doing it. Adventure awaits, I want to meet other world travelers, make new friends, learned about different cultures, expand my horizons and dare. I want to proof myself that I can do things, things that are exciting and new, always keeping myself safe as well as others and just enjoy life. I think this can be an enriching experience and I am looking forward to new friendships.

Interests

I love the outdoors. When I was in Puerto Rico, that was my day to day pretty much. I went hiking, to the beach, diving and all sports you can imagine. I love the water, especially the ocean. I love sports, especially Baseball and Soccer. I am a Star Wars fan since I can remember, I enjoy going to conventions and I have met a lot of the actors from the movies. I love comic books as well, I'm also a Lego fan and I love to travel, I don't love flying, but traveling is one of my things. I rather sail than take a plane. I love history.

Music, Movies, and Books

Star Wars is my favorite movie, original trilogy. I'm very old school, so I stick with originals and classics, I like new things as well, but I have a nostalgia for the olden days. I love Rock music, Queen, Billy Joel, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Guns N Roses (before), Elvis Presley, Elton John, Imagine Dragons. I love Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Aerosmith and many more, but those are on the very top of my list. I love the 80's, I like almost all kind of music and I have almost all kind of music, from classic to heavy metal. I love Freddy Mercury and I always say that he was one of the greatest singer ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I circumnavigated the earth on 2009, six months underway, it was tough, but it was amazing.

We are always learning, I love to learn, learn about people, their culture, sharing experiences, sharing our adventures and creating new ones by doing so. I will also teach about my culture, my languages and my dreams. Is all about new experiences and open yourself to new things and to life and that's what I'm looking for.
