I love to travel, and I would really like to see the world, as cliché as it sounds. I am currently working in Marseille, France, teaching middle school English. I am a language assistant, and working with other professionals in the area to teach. My family is living in the United States. I have two sisters and a dog. I went to university for 5 years, where I earned my Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because it was recommended to my by a friend of mine. She said it is a great way to meet new people, as well as the added benefit of having a place to stay.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide variety of music, which includes rap, R&B, country, alternative, rock. I also watch a wide variety of movies, however, I CANNOT watch horror movies. I do enjoy romantic comedies, regular comedies, dramas, thrillers (from time to time), and action movies. Reading is one of my favorite pass times. I am about to finish Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, but I am always reading a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my 22nd birthday, I conquered my fear of heights and I went skydiving!

I would love the opportunity to get to meet people from different countries and different cities throughout the world, and I believe this is one of the best ways to do it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

So long as I can speak the language, I would like to get to know the host, and have the host get to know me. I have been studying French for about 10 years now, and I started when I was in high school, so I know quite a bit, but as always, there is always more to learn!
