Hey my names Jess!

I'm 25 years old and was born in a small town in Northwest Ohio. I've always had a passion for culture and exploring, so when I was 19, I left home for the first time to travel and haven't stopped since. For the past three years, I have been living in Reykjavik Iceland working as a barista and traveling around Europe with my husband. I'm a vegetarian of 4 years and enjoy cooking good veggie food. Coffee, food, and travel are my passions.

I love traveling for the cultural experience and for the people I meet along the way! Hospitality is a big value of mine. I believe hospitality goes a long way and can create a beautiful atmosphere. I love making people feel welcomed.

I also love receiving hospitality. Too me, traveling is about the connections I make and the culture I experience.

I love exploring, new cultures, and seeing new cities. I have a strong passion for music and creative writing. I'm also a huge fan of coffee, and craft beer. I love nature, poetry, hiking, instagramming, and design. One of my favorite things is going to local shows or seeing some live performance!

In 2014, I was approved for an Icelandic Visa so I quit my job, packed up a few belongings and moved to Iceland.

I love connecting and meeting new people. I'm very independent and enjoy exploring new areas and cities. I'm very easy going and love good conversations. I can talk about anything!

I also love introducing people to Iceland. There are so many tourists in Iceland now, but I love showing friends where the locals hang. I'm clean, quiet, love deep conversations, and can cook really good vegetarian food.
