About Me

I'm a kind, easy-going, curious, open-minded person who likes to go on adventures. I'm currently studying English and Film Studies at Trinity College in Dublin (exchange student) and hope to become a journalist.
As for my hobbys, I make short films with some friends (Nothing very fancy, I'm just an amateur) and play the harp (I'm also trying to learn the ukulele). I also enjoy photography, watching films, reading and cooking (especially sweet stuff).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be hosted because I love to travel and meet people from the places I'm visiting. I enjoy discovering a city/place from the point of view of a native and not only doing the touristic attractions.
I would also like to show my hometown to fellow couchsurfers as I can't host anyone (still living with my parents).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all kind of music, but now what I listen are songs from singers like Hozier, Rhodes, Apothek, Soko, Seafret, Sufjan Stevens, Cigarettes after Sex, Mazzy Star.
As I study film theory, I have to watch a lot of old and not-so-old movies. My favourites of the moment are Mister Nobody, Her, In the Mood for Love, Captain Fantastic, Leviathan, The Florida Project, Lady Bird, The Square... I also watch a lot of TV shows like Game of Thrones, Sense8, the Handmaid's Tale, Top of the Lake...
I also enjoy reading books (mostly during the holidays as I have so much to read for class during terms); I like all kind of stuff from Sci-Fi to Historical romances and more "literary" texts. My all-time favorite is a dystopia called Never Let Me Go from Kazuo Ishiguro (it's an incredible novel, you should give it a try)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have helped filming documentaries, one about an archeological site in Greece and one about a special kind of Carnival in the swiss Alps.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always eager to learn about other places and different cultures.
