I'm a brazilian advertiser that currently lives in France while working as an au pair. In 2017, I did my first international trip, a 40-day eurotrip, and since then I had the certainty that I was born to travel and discover new places.
I'm fascinated by culture, art, food and languages and love to learn. I also strive to become a better person and learn from others whenever I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I spend a lot of time by myself and tend to travel alone, it's great to get to know new people on the places I visit. Not to mention that locals can give us an amazing and priceless view of their hometowns and that's something I deeply appreciate. Also, as an au pair, I tend to be always on a budget, which means saving money is something I look forward to do. ;)

Interests

I'm always reading a book - often more than one at a time -, listening to music and thinking about food. I could say these are my biggest passions in life. But there are more of them! Don't be fooled by my always hungry self.

I recently did my first (baby steps) hikking trip, to Étretat, and found out that, unlike I've always thought, I actually love it. It is quite a challenge for me, as I'm not super fit, but I found so much peace once I reached the peak and got to seat at the top of the cliffs, just admiring how amazing nature is. <3

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I listen to basic everything! I'm obsessed about Sinatra (great song for cooking and getting your mood lightened!), Arctic Monkeys (I've been to their concert and it was amazing!), Portugal. The Man, Nothing But Thieves, Royal Blood, Paolo Nutini, Céu, Ana Carolina, Florence and the Machine, AC/DC, Marilyn Manson, some MPB (Popular Brazilian Music), London Grammar, Hozier, The Neighbourhood, Lana Del Rey... Can you tell how ecletic I am, right?

MOVIES: I love, love, love Hitchcock's movies! I'm obsessed with Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, and also love old movies in general. I also love french romantic comedies; I think french people have the gift to make romantic movies that are actually interesting and sweet. But lately I've been watching mostly tv shows: I'm following over 20 at this time (HIMYM, Suits, Friends, Ozark...)! Let's chat about it! ;)

BOOKS: oh, man... where should I start from? Agatha Christie was one of the most important authors in my road to a simple reader to a bookworm, so... I gotta mention her first. I also like Dan Brown's books, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's romances, chick-lit, policial, thrillers... It's hard to name favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled through Europe by myself for 40 days, made some amazing friends, met incredible people and places and learned a lot about life and myself.
I've learned English by myself. I barely remember how I did that, but everyone always compliment me for this one, so I guess I could say it was amazing. hehe
