About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am getting into solo traveling and it is more difficult to use airbnb and hotels for that purpose. I am also looking to meet new people and be exposed to new experiences.

Also, I love to show people my city. I have only spent a few years in Detroit and have fallen madly in love with it. Let me show you all the beauty in the decay.

Finally, I want to open my home to you and show you the love that God intends us to show our neighbors.

Interests

My absolute favorite thing in the world is backpacking and I got into rock climbing around a year ago. I have been running since I was young and I am ran my first marathon in September.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what quantifies something as amazing but climbing over the end of a cliff 100 meters tall after lead climbing for the first time, or summitting your first fourteener in 2 foot of snow, or seeing your car after spending a week backpacking in the woods, or looking up and seeing a [harmless] 6 ft gulf shark while snorkeling in the Florida keys before you know it is [harmless], or crossing the finish line with your Mom on her last and your first marathon. I don't know life is pretty rad when you think about all these moments.
