Hi we're Phil and Jess (M54, F53) and we live in a cute house in Maldon, Victoria 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne and close to Castlemaine, Victoria.

We're on a large 2 acre property and only a few minutes walk into the village which always has something on. You can catch a train to Castlemaine train station and we'll pick you up if needed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're on couch surfing to host international travellers who want a taste of Australian life!

We're preparing our home for AirBnB guests but until then we'd love to host travellers for free but we'd appreciate some help as well - Give us your opinion on the interior design we should do or help us design a booklet for new AirBnB guests or help us pick up building supplies in the Ute. Or maybe you'd just like to walk the dog down a country road and have a chat.

In return we'll show you around the historical town of Maldon which has a bit of everything - you can drink at a small bar listening to live music, do some hikes in the forest, experience an old Australian town - there is even Clydesdale horse and cart trips to take in the village.
