About Me
I'm Australian. I'm easygoing, an optimist and love meeting new people. I think everything is better with a smile :) I absolutely adore avocados. I'm a country girl at heart and crave the outdoors. I love my family (and dog) more than anything else in the world. I'm still working out what I want to do with my life, but know that I want to work within the media and entertainment industry. I have a habit of telling really bad puns.
Whilst I studied in Australia, I have just finished exchange in Edinburgh and am taking some time to travel before returning home and entering the world of full time work.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ohhh this is a hard section since I will watch, read and listen to pretty much anything and everything!
Music wise, I'm a complete sucker for Jazz and Musicals (I'm a bit of a musical theatre nerd at heart). Also The Wombats and The Cat Empire make amazing music and a little bit of Taylor Swift never goes astray!
After working in a movie store for 5 years, I have watched more films then I wish to admit! Love Actually is a classic that always makes an appearance around Christmas time, but chuck a psychological thriller on the screen and I'll be completely hooked. I also watch Friends, Archer, Dexter, Dr Who, Skins, Community, Summer Heights High, Awkward, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Game of Thrones, Death Note, American Horror Story, Sherlock .... ahhh that's all I can think of right now but I'm always looking for new series to get hooked on, so throw any recommendations my way.
Book wise, I've always got into the classic series like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Sherlock Holmes, James Bond etc. However, whilst studying literature I completely fell in love with Thomas Hardy's 'Tess of the D'urbervilles'
