About Me

My name is Jessica, Canadian master's student doing a joint degree in Italy and Spain!

As the future grows more uncertain, the number of existential crises I've experienced increased exponentially. These existential crises were not at all productive, so I decided to throw a wrench into my everyday life and move to a different country to have my existential crises there.

LIKES:
I like drawing and any sort of crafty activity. I'm currently exploring bookbinding and canvas painting. I like hiking and staring at trees and taking long walks in the city.

DISLIKES: One-sided printed paper.

I'd like to think I'm friendly and easy to get along with. I can be pretty quiet at first, but worry not, I am not sane. I like to keep an open mind and value those who are kind and genuine.

PHILOSOPHY:
- It does not take a cruel heart to do true damage.
- The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference [...]. (Elie Wiesel)
- A little bit of courage is true magic.
- There is meaning to choices never made.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to make some friends! I feel that I've lived in the same place for too long and dug myself into some habits that bring about the same experiences that restrict my chances of connecting with others and coming upon new experiences.

I hope my time here on CS will help me to continue being more open, kind, and optimistic when faced with new people and situations.
