About Me

Hi I'm Jess! I am currently a student majoring in Psychology and minoring in SWAG (Sexuality, Women, and Gender Studies). I'm half Aussie, have dual citizenship, and lived in Sydney for about 3 years. I am a progressive agnostic Buddhist and I'm interested in studying mindfulness in Psychology. I like yoga, swimming, and love being outside if its not too hot and humid - so I'm not a huge fan of Florida weather for most the year, hence why I like to travel in the summer! But the winters in Florida are beautiful and I love them.

Heads up for those who are looking for a couch, I live about an hour outside of Orlando - nearly in the middle of nowhere! And unfortunately there is no public transport into the city from where I live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, I know I would enjoy interacting with hosts and spending time with them if and when they have the time and would like to :) Also, as a student living on a budget I can't always afford to pay for accommodation and this prohibits me from traveling more.
