I recently graduated from Elmhurst College with a degree in Philosophy and Cultural studies. I want a break from all of the academic theorizing so I am traveling the country doing a variety of service and disaster relief work. I've recently worked in a mega shelter for those displaced by hurricane Harvey, in the countries largest food bank sorting donations, and tearing out walls and flooring in flooded homes. I think it's incredible the different ways people show up for eachother!
