About Me

I am a 31 year old woman looking to experience living abroad for a year. My only hope is to learn to speak French fluently (Currently 25%), meet people all over Europe and learn about living in a different culture (other than American). I am very friendly and open. I enjoy most any conversation and am interested in people and all their fun variations. I get along with almost everyone I meet. I am into sports, especially water activities. I also enjoy yoga and running. I am silly but can be serious. I love reading and science is a passion of mine. I look forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have to stay on a tight budget to make living abroad for a year possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gave birth to a 10lb child, got my bachelors degree in Marine Biology, co-parented with 2 other people, became a master scuba diver, wrote a scientific paper on the phytoplankton in the Mediterranean, started my own business and lost 60lbs all in 12 short years.

In short, my life is one amazing thing I've been lucky enough to experience and engage with.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking to people about emotional intelligence and breaking down barriers to vulnerability. I enjoy making people laugh and working out/playing together. I like to cook and listen/share stories. I can teach english, reading, math (up to calculus), critical thinking, yoga, gardening (only in CA), empowerment, clean, cook, limited experience sewing, how to make a great cup of coffee, skate (ice and board), tennis, scuba, love and other things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my hands for helping, cooking, cleaning, gardening, yoga practice, empathic discussion, coffee and a great attitude.
