About Me

Hey there! I am an exchange journalism student currently living in Grenoble, France. It's my fisrt time abroad and I am so excited about it! What I love most about traveling is sharing different stories with people that we might never have met in other situations. I am great listener and I always value the respect, kindness and empathy.

I've always been in love with art. It makes me feel alive. I don't really like making goals, but for sure putting more art in my life is one of them. One way of doing this is trying to see art in everything and everywhere: actually, it's very easy, but our mind is used to search more "useful things to succed in life". So, my lige goal is to feed my soul with beauty and love. And If I can't find them, it's because it's time to leave for a place where poetry can flourish.

I am also deconstructing some certainties in my life and it's been great! Traveling is a new school and I am learning so much with all those different people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that places speak through people. Exchanging experiences and knowledges makes us alive. Meeting new people and places is an opportunity that opens our minds and collaborates with other ways of looking at life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Brazilian popular music, samba, forró. But I also like pop and reggaeton.

Until now, I think my favorite book is Crime and Punishment. It's hard to choose just one book. I really love Clarice Lispector ones.

The French cliché: I love Amélie Poulain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been on a boat under the Iguaçu Falls, in Brazil. It may seem like a common experience, but it was amazing to feel the force of nature on my skin. I've also spent the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and it was certainly one of the best experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese and how to dance samba and forró (that doesn't mean I'm very good at it). I can also cook a traditional Brazilian dessert, the brigadeiro. Unfortunately the ingredients are different and you will have to meet me again in Brazil so I can make a tastier brigadeiro! Do you like drinks? I can make genuine Brazilian caipirinhas.
