Overview
About Me
I'm an adventurous and open person looking to meet new people and hopefully make some new friends! I enjoy a few beers at home or out on the town and am always on board for some outdoor activities like hiking.
I grew up in the North East coast of NZ and so spent most of my childhood outdoors swimming, hiking and adventuring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend Renee and I are spending three months (mid September through to late December 2018) travelling around Europe and part of all of that is meeting new people, and exploring all the great local spots off the tourist trail.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music tastes are pretty heavily centred around NZ and Australian local indie/reggae rock. Think Sticky Fingers, DMAs, Fat Freddys Drop, Kora. Although I'm up for anything and love going to live gigs.
My favourite book and series is the Handmaids Tale, although I must admit I've only just jumped on the bandwagon. Other books that feature on my top list are Room, Fight Like a Girl by Clementine Ford and The Pearl that Broke it's Shell. I'm a self confessed Harry Potter nerd as well and will take up any challenge of a quiz...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A skydive in Queenstown overlooking Lake Wakitipu has to be one of my highlights. A close second is snorkeling in Bali and watching a huge manta-ray swim below me, scary but amazing at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Renee and I (Renee more than me!) can teach you a bit of Te Reo Maori, the indigenous language of NZ.
