ABOUT ME

Im the kind of person who likes a good balance of doing and resting. Im equally happy at home reading a book, out at a bar or out in the wilderness. I love all animals and love baking and sewing and gardening. I also love chatting over hot drinks or cold beers.

Relax! Life is meant to be a good experience, but take the bad and learn from it (or something like that)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I want to meet people from the cities I visit, rather than just staying in hostels and getting a surface level experience. But also back in New Zealand we love having new people to come and stay and I look forward to returning any favours I receive!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had such great experiences with couch surfing in the past, so many friendly people willing to help you out and show you their cities. It's so cool!

兴趣

I love lots of things, but I'm really into home baking and other things that make you more self-sustainable. Also interested in art and history, music and most things. Basically eager to learn!

Music: It changes so much ^^ at the moment it ranges from Arthur Russell, Sun City Girls, Towns Van Zandt, Laura Marling, Smog/Bill Callahan...what do people do here? List all the music they like!

Books: I love reading, anything from Kerouac, Plath, Brautigan, Bradbury, Austin. Plus recent stuff too!

Movies: The Royal Tenenbaums, The Squid and the Whale, Margot at the Wedding, Melancholia and other comedies too but I can´t think of any right now!

TV: Party Down, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, Bobs Burgers, SuperJail

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Driving around Iceland sans map. Though when we got lost it wasnt too big of an issue because most roads lead to Reykavik! Of course there are so many! This is just one very fun experience.

I can teach sewing skills, baking, cooking and a dash of gardening (with mixed results) but I would love to learn more about all these thing and much much more!
