PHILOSOPHY
"Live your life as an experiment." -Chogyam Trungpa
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting genuine, curious, interesting people is the best part of traveling... and life in general.
Interests
I'm an academic philosopher, which means that I spend lots of time reading and writing, but I've also been able to travel a lot for my academic work, which I love. I'm committed to my meditation practice, and I appreciate hearing about what makes all kinds of people tick. I also think that the world has way more kind, genuine people than unsavory ones.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have too many favorite philosophers to name here; my favorite novel is East of Eden.
I randomly quote the Big Lebowski in conversation... way too much.
I love music, especially seeing live music, of almost any variety. My favorites, though, tend to be in the indie rock, neo-folk and classic rock-ish neighborhoods.
