About Me

CURRENT MISSION

skip-aussie lass on kiwi walkabout over summer

ABOUT ME

Urbanised hippy chile and passionate daydreamer, about to escape city life and hit the open rd in NZ over summer...

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in keeping a sense of wonder in my heart, a sense of curiousity in my mind, and following where my nose takes me... and I believe in slowing down, but seem to have lost the knack...

And people, I believe in people and the stories they have to tell :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently seeking locals all over NZ to share stories and lots of laughter. I'll be jumping the Tasman for three months, Jan-March 2012 and be traveling all over in a camping van, so crash space isn't really an issue. I'll be traveling on my own, though and would love to hear from locals who wouldn't mind showing me round when i hit their town.

Looking forward to opening my own couch up in Melb, when I get back ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessing the birth of a rainbow, arching valley directly next to my favourite mountains look-out, all the way to Sydney...and less than 5km in the air from me

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook, in fact I love to :)

I realised last year that I can also manage an art gallery, am a pretty organised event org, and have a passion for developing projects which enhance community...After a month of lessons, I'm currently stumbling my way through my first three chords on guitar (and am looking forward to campfire practice), and really, it's way past overtime that I learnt how to sew!
