ABOUT ME

Outgoing, like to talk. I like to learn different languages and experience new cultures. I spent a year studying abroad in Japan and Austria, followed by an internship in Germany, 9 months working in Vietnam, and now I'm working in London! Born and raised in Canada although I have moved all over the country.

PHILOSOPHY

You can't grow unless you step out of your comfort zone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a few times in Asia and in Europe and it was awesome! I really prefer couchsurfing over staying in a hostel because it allows me to get to know the locals/expats and get a first hand experience of the culture. I couldn't be happier with my experience thus far.

兴趣

Traveling!!! I love to learn about different cultures. I also really like doing new and interesting things that I've never tried before. I enjoy hiking (even though I am a beginner), running, canyoning, yoga and most other sports. I don't get to do them all the time so when I do I like to jump on the opportunity!

All John Hughes Movies! Also, Disney/Pixar and Martin Scorcese films. Some of my favourite movies are Scarface, Finding Nemo, The Departed, Catch Me If You Can and The Dark Knight. Clearly I am also a big Leonardo DiCaprio fan. I also really enjoy movies based on history and documentaries.

I like most styles of music and have been told I have a very eclectic taste. However, all in all I like anything that is catchy and that I can sing along too.

I tend to like books based on true stories as I feel I can better relate to the stories and empathize with the characters.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Traveling through Ireland and finding a cliff in a very small town and just looking out over the ocean. I must have sat there for an hour at least.
