ABOUT ME

What most friends say about me is that I am warm-hearted, have a good sense of humour, am easy-going, I love to read and learn new things, am reliable, open-minded and a good friend :-). I have known my best friend since I started primary school when I was 7...so I guess I am very loyal, too.

PHILOSOPHY

Since I have lost my previous partner due to cancer and experienced how soon it can all be over, I have started to see the beauty in small things and enjoy every single day. It might sound cheesy at first but profound experiences like that do change your perspective on life. It sure changed mine.

Interessi

Literature and theatre, love :-), conversations with interesting people. I love spending time at home reading, listening to music, I do yoga and sports (fitness, aerobics, pilates). I love to go out with my friends and my partner. I play the saxophone, have got two cute cats, I love life and try to live life to the fullest...I am a teacher and I love working with young people. I also like travelling and cooking.

Musica, film e libri

Some of the movies I really enjoyed are Aimee und Jaguar / Love actually / Sense and Sensibility...I could list loads here though. I thoroughly enjoy watching independent German films.

I mainly listen to Amy Winehouse, De-Phazz, female singer/songwriters (such as Cecile Verny, Regy Clasen, Joy Denalane), jazz, Easy Listening / Lounge, I like Cesaria Evora a lot and I am also a big fan of The Beastie Boys :-)...

Reading is my passion...I could spend my whole life just reading. My favourite authors are Virginia Woolf, the Bronte Sisters, Shakespeare and Michele Roberts.

One of the best books ever to me is "Der Zauberberg" by Thomas Mann.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I cannot name two or three moments because I have awestrucking moments each day...I can be awestruck about simple things such as receiving a kind message from a friend or sitting on my balcony while it is raining outside, enjoying the fresh air and a good book...things like that!:-)
