Our small family has decided to search the world for the source of life, what life is really about: enjoying, living, experiencing, and remembering. We want to truly experience life to the fullest.

ABOUT ME

This profile is about myself Jessica, my husband Tracy,and son Elijah. We just sold everything we own, quit our jobs, and are traveling the world in search of what life is really about. We are looking to live simply and at one with nature and the world around us.

PHILOSOPHY

Whether you call that source God, Allah, Mother Nature, Gaia, the Divine Father and Mother, the great “I Am,” or maybe you don’t know what you believe in, there is something undeniably bigger than us, greater than us, yet within all of us. It connects us, it makes life worth living, and it makes us get up each morning and choose to live another day.

We believe that we are capable of knowing and experiencing God on earth and we're set out to do just that. Here's a quote from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin that we really like:

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We don't have any experience yet. We've just heard good things about CS from people we know.

Interests

We love organic farming; we love to grow veggies, fruits, and herbs; we love to cook nearly every meal at home (except for the occasional sushi night out); we love to make bread, tortillas, butter, cheese, dried herbs, salsas, sauces, etc.; and we love to just sit outside at our firepit (we'll miss it!) talking with friends and family!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of our son, Elijah, in June of this year, 2012. He was born at home and is perfect to us in every way.

Our wedding on the beach in Riviera Maya, Mexico in 2011. We chose to do an intimate ceremony that included just the two of us at sunset.

Also, every day when we were in our backyard/farm, we were awestruck by the wonders and beauty of nature and God's creatures and creations.

Teach, Learn, Share

We'd be able to share with others: organic farming, sustainability, cooking with lots of different foods, making own bread/tortillas.
