ABOUT ME

I love to travel and experience new things, meet new people, eat new foods, and learn new languages. That being said, I also like the comforts of home, which is why I always stay in touch my family, why I like building lasting friendships, why I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and why I like to cook when I can. My philosophy is that home is wherever you happen to be--unless that place is an airplane ( though, despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of airplanes, I have met some very interesting people on plane rides).

Intereses

I absolutely love the outdoors: I love walking, hiking, biking, jogging, swimming, and cross-country skiing when I can! I love exploring new places through one of these outdoor activities. I also love music–jazz, blues, folk, pop and hip-hop–a good outdoor performance can't be beat. I also really appreciate a good book, or a good movie.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of the most beautiful experiences I have had is cross-country skiing on moon-lit trails in the Gatineau hills outside of my hometown of Ottawa, Canada.

I went swimming in the Mekong River and saw endangered river dolphins swimming near me.

I traversed treacherous, winding roads in the mountains of Sichuan in a minivan, but I knew that I and my friends would be all right, because it was a monk driving the minivan!
