ABOUT ME

I love good food, interesting people, amazing conversation and foreign and independent film. I also love to take long walks in new places and yoga outdoors. Good wine is always a good thing and sitting, relaxing and hearing people tell about their various lives and stories goes well with the former. I love fires and sleeping under the stars, and I hope to contribute to a more peaceful world.

PHILOSOPHY

This is such a huge question... I'm 20 and still trying to figure out what my philosphy of life is. However, I think life is to be lived with others, everyone influencing each person they meet in a positive way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined and would like to learn more and hopefully become a host in the near future. I love meeting new people and think this is an amazing way to create new and interesting friendships with all kinds of diverse people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done lots of couch surfing among friends and aquaintences, however, I've never couch-surfed with anyone I didn't know. Given that, I'm extremely excited to get this opportunity to surf some couches and meet some new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

WOW, there are so many... Favorite books include: The Bluest Eye, LoTR, The Harry Potter Series, The Bean Trees, anything by Shakespeare, anything by Robert Browning, some Jane Austen, some John Steinbeck, I like alot of fantasy-type books, I just got finished reading Wicked... there are SO MANY MORE!
Movies: Waking Life, Secretary, anything with Alan Rickman or Cate Blanchett, I just saw Pan's Labyrinth and it was amazing... I love good films in general... anything that makes you think and that you can have a great conversation about after you've seen it...
Music: I like a little of alot of things, I'm very picky but like some of almost every genre...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done in my life is to share a beautiful friendship for 15 years with my best friend, a person who keeps teaching me new ways to look at the world and sharing new ideas that always keep me on my toes.
