ABOUT ME

I'm an outdoor-loving gal who will do (or wants to try) just about any kind of outdoor physical activity/sport there is. I may be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly. I'm also a strong Christian, and am actively involved in my church. I love teaching and tutoring, which is how I'm paying my way through grad school. I'm a big thinker and lover of knowledge/truth, so I'm a willing learner and interested in any topic under the sun. Traveling is also one of my passions, and I've been to many countries and seen many different cultures around the world. I've been to Europe multiple times, Australia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, cross country in the States, etc... though my goal is to get myself sometime to the Mediterranean and to South America.

Music, Movies, and Books

I spend much of my spare time reading. I'm a big fan of the classics (London, Austen, Twain, Dumas rank among my favorites), but I will read just about anything--minus the horror/thriller stuff. Recently, though, I've been reading a lot of nonfiction and 'information' books. Knowledge is power =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Mt. Fuji when I was a high school student living in Japan. I climbed with my family, starting off at nighttime in order to get to the top by sunrise, and though I was dead exhausted by the end, I will definitely never forget that experience.
