I am a photography student in love with the raw beauty of this endlessly vast world we live in. My mission is to travel as much as possible while meeting friendly individuals who share the same desire to experience life at its fullest potential. I don't believe in tourist traps. I believe in visiting different areas of the world through the eyes and hearts of people who actually live there. I believe there is true growth that can be attained by connecting with strangers -- strangers who can become great friends. I believe traveling heals, restores, sets a new passion and hope deep within our souls. I never want to be content with standing in one place. There is always something new to discover and explore. Whether it's a half hour away, or oceans away. Take an adventure!

The top two places I want to visit are ICELAND and AUSTRALIA. Oh, and everywhere else!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not currently able to host, but would like to one day when I have my own place. I am totally open to hanging out and showing anyone around town!

Right now I am interested in having my first surfing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie music is my favorite. I'm an indie girl! I have a special place in my heart for film. I love all kinds, but especially documentaries, indies, and just very well-made films. You might have guessed that I'm also a reader. Currently reading: Love Does - Bob Goff

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a trip in July-August 2013, I got to explore Claude Monet's house and gardens in Giverny, France. A day later, I got to walk through three different castles and see Leonardo Da Vinci's tomb. These are some of my favorite memories from France simply because I was paired with two WONDERFUL groups of people to experience it with. We laughed together, were awestruck together, and had fantastic conversations. The heart of traveling is the people you experience it with.

Want to learn to: surf, cook well, play guitar and piano, a new language (particularly Icelandic, Italian and French)
