About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live a great, adventurous life with absolutely no regrets
ABOUT ME
I love adventures of all sorts, anything from wandering the streets to a full planned trip. I grew up in a town that has over 100 miles of golf cart paths that weaved through the town. We would always try to get lost on the paths so we could learn all of them. Eventually we never could get lost anymore.
I love to listen to music of all sorts, going to music festivals and concerts has become something I really really really enjoy doing. The live music is awesome and to see so many people enjoying themselves at them is something I couldn't enjoy more, if only it didn't hurt my bank account as much as it currently is.
I am pretty athletic/active, I played volleyball and swam all throughout high school, as well as being involved in local running races/triathlons that my parents also participated/organized. I've run a marthon! one of my greater feats. I would encourage training for one before you do, because god only knows I wasn't prepared for that, but I finished! I hope to one day do an Ironman, those are intense, growing up watching my parents as well as parents friends do them is super inspiring.
I am pretty artsy, I was in school for graphic design but switched to marketing, something I kind of am sad I did, but think it might work out better. I wish I had more time to translate all the ideas I have down actually create some stuff...one day!
So basically I enjoy almost anything! I can be super adventurous or I can sit on the couch all day and watch movies, just depending how it is. I'm very chill and hope to meet a bunch of people through here!!
PHILOSOPHY
"I'm not in search of sanctity, sacredness, purity; these things are found after this life, not in this life; but in this life I search to be completely human: to feel, to give, to take, to laugh, to get lost, to be found, to dance, to love and to lust, to be so human" - C. Joybell C.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only taken one trip where I used couchsurfing, the experience was unlike any other. Basically two weeks travelling through southern california, the Los Angeles, Venice, Santa Monica area. If you stay here I'll tell you the whole story, its pretty funny and interesting! Met some great people through here whlie I was there and hope to keep in touch and visit again!
I hope to now host some people since I just moved to downtown Atlanta!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hmmm...besides the couchsurfing trip, I've gone skydiving which seems like forever ago now but it was an amazing experience. We ended up having to wait almost all day on this farm in north georgia, it was starting to get late and we ended up jumping out of the plane while the sun was going down. I wish i had a camera or had the person take pictures of me because i'm sure they would have turned out awesome. The view was something I'll never forget.
One time I went to Louisville, Kentucky to watch/spectate/help my mom out while she competed in an Ironman triathlon. The day was pretty cool, watching about 2,000 people take on that trek. She got sick from the water and once she got to the run, she was super sick. Sparing the gross details of what she was doing, she would not give up. I was begging her to just get on the medical bus to take her back to the finish line so she could get medical attention. She refused and wouldn't even talk to me from being so mad, I ended up walking the whole marathon part with her, watching her get sick almost every mile of it. The fun part, I wasn't expecting to leave my stepdad to go walk with her, so I didn't have any socks on. I couldn't feel my feet once she finished and I got back to the hotel. I couldn't walk for the next two days. I didn't tell her about my pain after watching her exhaust herself all day. From the whole thing we were basically trying to teach each other about determination without really knowing it. The experience kinda sucked at the time but looking back it is really a good story.
BONNAROO 2013...I don't even have words for this experience. Its depressing I'm not on the farm anymore, hopefully next year if the lineup is good, which I'm more than sure it will be, I will go again!!
I ran the Chicago marathon!! didn't train nearly as much as I should have but I finished it!
