About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find a new favourite book, make new friends from as many countries as possible, eat the best pistache ice-cream in the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm Jess, 37, a secondary school teacher. I am an easy-going, sociable and reliable person who loves travelling and meeting new people. I already lived in Scotland and France and made some great friends there and it almost always breaks my heart to leave a place where I had a great time.
I have a thing for old or weird things. I could spend hours on a flee market, looking at old photos or flipping through old books because I have the feeling that these things can tell stories. Everything too modern bores me quite quickly.
I also enjoy short trips to interesting places. They can be cities or a beautiful landscape. The only thing I really don't like is just lying on a beach, doing nothing. Having good company during these trips is a great plus ;)
PHILOSOPHY
"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, I cannot offer a couch, but I'd be happy to show people my home town (region). Going for a coffee or pint abroad with locals would be great, too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed on a couch in Finland and attended many events there, which was brilliant!
