To ski away another winter this time in Japan.

ABOUT ME

Not very good at sitting still or staying in one place I spend my time exploring and playing and trying new things, be that tour guide at a rat temple in India or scuba diving in the Caribbean I will happily give it a go!

PHILOSOPHY

The World is a great, big, huge, beautiful, ugly, majestic, noisy, evolving, magical place filled with an even more varied range of people, it is always the time to be excited about this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I don't tend to live anywhere long enough to let people crash at mine... But I love couchsurfing with other people and hopefully one day I will be able to offer my sofa in return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in France while travelling which was a lot of fun! And have also gone to a local couchsurfing meet which when back at home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are just incredible and last time I moved house I managed to fill fourteen boxes with mine.. I guess there are a few of my favourites: Outliers, 1984, Brave New World, A Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Collected Short Stories of Roald Dahl, The Gargoyle, The Book Thief, The Cookbook Collector.

Ooh I love music but I am particularly bad at listening to new stuff and I tend to listen to the same album for months on end. At the moment Of Monsters and Men are the top of my list although if All Star of Bohemian Rhapsody happen to come on I have to sing along at the top of my voice with lots of wild gesticulations.

Hmm, I am pretty bad at watching films unless I am sat down and made to concentrate but Airplane does make me giggle rather a lot...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to put all of my jumbled thoughts down on paper to write a book all the way to the end. It's not published but it is there in real life!

Rather good at baking the odd cake here and there...
