Hi There!
My name is Jessica, preferably Jess, and I am an outgoing, sweet, and hardworking young lady. I grew up in Austin, TX which is probably where I get my weird from! I am a sophomore at Austin Community College in TX where I am studying health and fitness.
I have been riding horses competitively all my life and I love animals!
I also partially grew up in Twin Lakes, CO where we have 2 vacation properties. I am a huge lover of the outdoors. I love hiking, biking, flying, skiing and sight-seeing. Anything exciting and mind blowing, sign me up!
My mother is also full British, which means I have grown up going to Europe since I was very young. This is where I got my love for flying from. I will jet-set any chance I get, which is a big reason I am joining couch surfing!
I am also very respectful and responsible. I've grown up in a family where respect is one of the most important attributes one could have. I am always willing to hold my own and do a duty as needed.
I love to have fun! I love dancing, listening to music, laughing, and just having a great time with good people.
My dream is to travel the world one day. I am constantly saving up. That's another reason I signed up for surfing. If I could meet new people, learn new things and travel at the same time, that would be even better! I also have a Sony Action Cam that I am working on filming my travels with.

Also, even though it may sound as if I financial background to do these travels, I do not. I am doing this all on my own, on my own money. I am trying to be smart about it though! I want to be independent and explore on my own terms. Any help though is great help!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

There are many reasons I have joined Couchsurfing!

1. TO TRAVEL! After growing up with the opportunities I have had, I have come to realize this is what I want to do for life. There are so many cool places to see and explore- I want to do it all before I don't have the chance.
2. TO MEET NEW PEOPLE! I love making new friends and learning new things. By getting to live with locals, I'd hopefully get the experience of learning all about them and all there is to do in their town.
3. TO GET SAVE MONEY! Lets face it, renting hotels or condos take a big chunk of change out of travel expenses. I would love to be able to save money as well as meet new people and get the opportunity to see what it's like in their everyday lifestyle with also helping them out as I can.
4. FOR LIFE EXPERIENCE! Traveling is a great way to get the experience of different cultures and habitats. I would love to learn about them all.
5. TO GET OUT. I don't want to be stuck in the rut of everyday life where there is so much to see and do. I have been a student my whole life while also working a part time job and it is not for me. I also don't want a regular office job or routine. I want to be out changing peoples lives and inspiring others to do the same. If that means working at a pizza shack in the Virgin Islands while promoting surfing companies, then so be it.

6. HAPPINESS. Seeing the world would mean true happiness for me. If I meet someone who also shares the same passion along the way, even better.

Do I sound crazy? Hopefully only crazy about this lifestyle. I know it can be tough but I am ready for the challenge.
