I have been using Couchsurfing to go through Europe and I love it! I love having friends everywhere that can help me travel on a whim before I sign myself up for 4 years of med school and many more in residency. I stay in hostels and Airbnb every now and then.. but I much prefer CS because it’s way more personal and I usually reach out to hosts I believe I’ll ha e a good time with. I’m good st being alone but I’m also good at giving company.

I love talking with people, and tend to be known as "the interrogator". Just trying to learn what motivates and compels people, so I can try and figure out my own intrinsic motivations, which I have a hard time pin-pointing.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

You know I don’t know what it is about couchsurfing that I don’t ever encounter people who are this damn cool organically at home. It’s honestly an experience that I love and feel like I can only get through couchsurfing. I have no idea how to describe how excited I am to meet people off couchsurfing. I have been using it for only a year now.. and it is by far the best experience of traveling so far. It gives me a friend in a place I have never been. A friend who is so welcoming, open, trusting. I try to explain it to outsiders and I don’t know how to describe that this entire experience is not just a “free” place to stay but a community and network of amazing people. It is so enriching and exactly what I imagine a utopia to be made up of. I’m so thankful for this community, for opening their hearts and my eyes.
Maybe I should just try this when I’m not traveling as well. I would love to host but don’t have my own place just yet

Also.. disclaimer I don’t think I should have to say this .. but just to be safe I am definitely not on here for dating. I am in a relationship with someone very special and dear to my heart.
