I'm Jess and I'm 25 years old, from Brisbane, Australia.
I'm currently 12 months in to an 18 month trip across South & Central America and Europe with my boyfriend Jake, who's 30. We're now on the Europe leg.
Back home I worked in a bar and restaurant in the city as their Events Coordinator and Venue Manager. I love meeting people and listening to their stories, whether in the bar at home, or around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've found that along our trip, the cities and countries of which we have the best memories are ones where we've had plenty of interaction with locals.
You always get to eat at the best places, see the best (and sometimes unknown) sights, and find out about other cool cities you never would have heard of. We would love more of this throughout Europe, and couch surfing is a great way to go about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conquered my fear of open ocean and sharks by doing my PADI Open Water course and LOVING it!

I love cooking, as does Jake, and we love sharing our food and teaching our less skilled friends.
