ABOUT ME

Just a small town girl, living in a lonely word... My education is all in health and I really am interested in health promotion and accessibility for Canadians. My personal life reflects a love of health and fitness as I love sports like field hockey, running and rock climbing as well as travelling the world and getting to know people from other cultures. I love the simple things in life like gardening, a nice hot tea and my pets and HATE driving in traffic.

PHILOSOPHY

Wake up in the morning and rock every day! I believe in standing up for what you believe in and that honesty is always the best policy. Think of how your decisions will affect other people and treat your body like a temple. Laugh, breathe deeply, listen and be near nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not able to offer up a couch at the moment because I don't even have a place to live right now but when I'm sorted I'll let you know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After an unfortunate incident in Korea, I’d taken refugee status on a friend’s couch for a few months. It was like being with family again.
It was also at this time when I survived the Great Couch Surfing Crash of '06.

Current or classic, I enjoy both kinds. I'm mostly a listen to music person, then reading books person then watching movies person. You probably don't want to see me dance or hear me sing though... I really do get into Star Wars though. It's exciting every time I watch it!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While jeeping through Tibet, our driver pulled over frantically yelling 'Everest! Everest!'. My fellow trekkers and I got out of the jeep, groggy from the altitude, to see the stormy weather that was sitting on the Himalayas for the past couple days be swept away to briefly reveal the sun shining brightly on the peak of Mt. Everest. Wow! It took my breath away.
