Enjoy life while traveling!

My name is Jessica Lorena, but you can call me Jess or Lore. I'm from Colombia, and I consider myself an open-minded Latina. I’m a cheerful, friendly, patient, kind, and very dreamy person. I love sharing different spaces, moments, conversations, meals, and drinks with people. I believe everyone has something to offer and a mark to leave on your life.

Over time, I’ve discovered that traveling is one of my biggest passions. It’s the way you truly get to understand how the world and each culture works. I love visiting different places, especially with local company; walking through beautiful landscapes, having good conversations, and learning about people’s traditions and stories.

I consider myself an easy-going person. I can enjoy a nice beer, a glass of wine, or a good coffee to accompany a conversation. I can go to a fancy restaurant or have a picnic in a park with a simple sandwich. I love the sea, but I love the mountains too. I love sharing my culture and learning about others.

One of my biggest dreams is to keep traveling and discovering the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started traveling in 2012, and I discovered Couchsurfing thanks to a friend while I was living in Argentina. Without a doubt, it has been one of the best experiences I've ever had. I took a break for a while, but I reconnected with the CS community while living in Malta, and now I’m ready to continue this great experience not only as a guest, but also by joining events, meetups, hikes, parties, and more.

I truly loved my experience in Malta. I had the chance to meet new people almost every week, and I hope to continue this anywhere in the world.

Interests

I love having good conversations accompanied by coffee, beer, or wine. I enjoy hiking and finding stunning views. As a Latina, I love dancing (especially salsa), and of course, I enjoy a good party as well. I'm a book lover, and I also like watching movies and series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve done scuba diving, I like extreme sports so I’ve done paragliding, bungee jumping, and rafting, and I’m looking forward to going skydiving :D

I can teach you how to dance salsa bc I love it :) I really enjoy trying food from all over the world and sharing Colombian dishes in return.
