ABOUT ME

I am a creative soul. I love to immerse myself in all forms of art, my favorites being poetry, photography, painting and music. I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in Alaska. I love all things that exhibit beauty, which is pretty much everything! I seek out deep conversations, and new ways to explore and create. I love animals, especially cats. I work with persons affected by Alzheimers and dementia. The elderly hold a special place in my heart.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to believe that we are all apart of some grand divine plan. That we all have a story to tell. I appreciate beauty, and seek it out in all of it's various forms. I reciprocate good deeds, and try to help those in need.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do enjoy movies and television. Though I tend to fall asleep during them! I love music - almost all genres can be found on my ipod, including country, metal, alternative, pop, rock, and a few others. You'll even find some poetry on my ipod! I love books. I especially love historical fiction and classical. I'm still not finished with Paradise Lost, but one day I will finish it! I also like poetry, such as Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, Yeats, Edgar Allen Poe and Sylvia Plath.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've seen is Prince William Sound. Alaska is beautiful in so many different ways, and while I will always feel most at home surrounded by snow capped mountains, I loved being on the open ocean with so many little islands to discover.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very good at teaching basic writing skills, various art forms to some extent, such as composition for photography. I have quite a bit of knowledge to share - I like to learn and have spent a great deal of time doing my own research in to things such as alzheimer's, poetry, spirituality, history, art, and other general topics. I have a solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology. I also have done a lot of research in to astrology.

I would love to learn more about art, history and culture. I would also enjoy learning about cooking, photography, videography, and the Italian language.
