About Me
Hi!
I'm Jess. I left my corporate office job in October to travel, explore, meet new people and live a little!
I enjoy photography and shoot whatever I find interesting, whether it's on the street or in nature.
Easy-going and open-minded, I'm Australian so being friendly is almost a given (:
I feel like magic is everywhere to be seen and felt if we're open to it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and sharing different stories and experiences. I'm hoping to make friends all over the globe and would be happy and look forward to returning the favour and sharing some my favourite things in Sydney (:
Interests
Photography - I capture people, places and things.
Food & drink - I live to eat and drink (and travel!) and loooooove food.
Art - I enjoy contemporary art, going to museums and galleries.
Music - Seeing live gigs, going to concerts, and sharing my favourite tunes.
Travel - Experiencing and learning about different cultures, I'm really interested in how different people have fun in different parts of the world.
Oh, and I have a thing for flowers!
... All of which, I like to share on my blog and IG.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is pretty diverse but I'm currently listening to FKA Twigs, Teengirl Fantasy, SZA, The Internet, Future Brown, Fatima Al Qadiri, Clams Casino
I like alt. pop/electro/rock though have been revisiting my roots and listening to lots of R&B and hip hop lately (I kind of grew up on it). I'm a big fan of Soulection Radio.
In terms of reading, I'm currently on a Murakami binge.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Mount Kinabalu in Borneo Malaysia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm fluent in English, having been born and raised in Australia so can be someone to practise with. My parents were born in Vietnam and my grandparents in China so I can share some basic Vietnamese and Cantonese.
