Overview
About Me
I'm a 27-year-old Economics and Politics graduate. I spent 3 years in the United Kingdom studying after which I went to South Africa for 1 year to work as a marketing assistant. It was without a doubt the best experience of my life.
I have been teaching languages for five years and I absolutely love learning them as much as teaching them. Wherever I go, I hope to be able to learn a bit of the language and share that special moment with locals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As much as I love traveling, I find it sometimes difficult to be emerged in the culture and learn from a culture. Couchsurfing challenges this and allows travelers to not only meet people but share time with them and learn from their experience. I love the concept because of it gives the opportunity to have a way deeper experience.
Interests
I am deeply interested in politics and history. My goal would be to one day be able to mix politics and travel by building a NGO and helping as many people as possible.
I also love reading not only political books but anything that will know how to keep me entertained (I am currently reading The Spiritual Laws and would recommend it to anyone that asks themselves a lot of questions)

Music, Movies, and Books
- Music:
My Spotify On Repeat is a mix of so many different things, it would be difficult to know where to start.
- TVShows (I am not really a movie person):
I spent most of my middle and high school watching tvshows so listing all of them would be impossible but some of my favourite ones are Sherlock, How I Met Your Mother, Parks and Recreation, The Mentalist, Big Bang Theory, How To Get Away With Murder, Rick and Morty, Suits, Shameless, That 70s Show, etc. etc. etc. the list goes on and on. However, I have not had the opportunity to really watch tvshows in a while.
- Books:
Pachinko - Lee Minjin
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a summer in California selling books door-to-door...pretty odd I know. This experience has taught me a lot and has completely changed who I am. Working 14 hours a day hearing 50 people telling me no to my face had made me a much stronger person who's less afraid of doing what she wants.
