ABOUT ME

I spent the first 5 years of my life in Hong Kong. Other than the few short summer trips back, I've been spending most of my time in Canada.
I applied for an exchange program that was organized by the Alberta school board and I left for Hokkaido in August of 2011. I learned so much more about the Japanese culture, met so many wonderful people- people from all over the world, and experienced things that I would never forget.

I am currently taking a gap year after my high school graduation. I will be attending Hokkaido University this upcoming October :D
After finishing a four year degree in the arts, I'm going to be applying to a Japanese design college.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couchsurfed before (but I'm planning to!) but I did meet a lovely ALT during my time in Japan that would tell me all about the people that would stay in her home. I thought it was odd having random strangers stay at her house, but I understand how it works now :D

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I got to attend a school trip to Kyoto during my time as an exchange student. It was like a trip within a trip! I was amazed at people acted so foreign in a different region of their country.
