I am a queer woman that works at an animal shelter and does other organizational stuff. I have strong relationships with family and friends. That's pretty much my life.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that mantra, "The personal is political". On a naive/optimistic day, I'll think that interactions between people is the key to changing the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not been anywhere or hosted anyone from this site, but I did a similar thing when I went to Portland. I stayed with a friend of a friend, and basically blended into their lives for 5 days, then came home. That was the best way I've ever traveled.
