ABOUT ME

My life consists of working lots at food related endeavors (bread making, catering, underground restauranteuring, preserving, food growing). A couple of months of each year I try to leave my lovely homeland, Nova Scotia, and see new things, find new foods to eat, new places to swim and hopefully find places to dance and new sounds.

I believe in the pursuit of freedom and fun, deep thinking and meaningfully interacting with the world around me.

While driving across America, I couch surfed and met so many lovely people. I am excited to host visitors to Halifax.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had many stays in lovely homes across the U.S. It was a really surprisingly awesome way to meet people and get a glimpse of people's lives and the way they live.

This year, while I was cooking food for Tree Planters in the province of Alberta, Canada, I flew by helicopter out to a sawdust mountain and lived and cooked food for tree planters non-stop for 21 days and had all the food dropped off by helicopter.

I am happy to teach Sourdough Breadmaking of DJ skills! I love cooking and catering and doing dishes.
