About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To keep exploring and learning, about myself, my surroundings, my world, your world.

ABOUT ME

I was living in Manchester for 2.3years, but moved back home for some much missed sunshine... and to work out my next adventure.
It feels like i've been studying or working forever and I haven't been able to get out and even begin to see the world. I've been luckier than a lot of others in the fact I've at least BEGUN to see what this big blue planet has in store for me but to all those people who tell me to settle down.... no chance.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to keep learning and growing and changing, challenging myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Instead of just being a tourist and ticking the boxes of places I've been too, I prefer to be able to meet some locals and see what other tourists wouldn't. Live a local life.
I'm trying to stay put in one place for a while, I'll have to make do for a while with traveling via the visiting couch surfer's stories and repaying some of the hospitality I've received as a couchsurfer
I don't check my emails as often as other people, so if its a short notice request, sorry if you don't get a reply in time...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first CS experience was visiting friends in Berlin for New Years Eve, and finding that most of the people at the party had all met via couch surfing. They were really good fun, we all had a similar outlook on life and had a laugh, and I'd like to meet more people like that.
Since then I've surfed a bit, hosted a bit more, and enjoyed it all.

Interests

All sorts of music- listening, trying to play/sing and dancing to it, traveling, writing, meeting new people, cooking... always will to give things a go, I'm not afraid to look like a clown.

Music, Movies, and Books

'Shantaram' Gregory David Roberts
The Blues Brothers (I just can't bring myself to watch the sequel, I dont want to ruin the first one...)
Anything from Jean Pierre Jeunet

Grew up listening to a lot of rocknroll, my mum sings and plays a lot of folk, and I love a bit of soul.
Love finding more music along my travels, especially when it can take you back to that particular time and place when you first heard it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont know... its all subjective...
I had amazing fun paddling a rubber dinghy down the Aare in Berne, Switzerland in the sunshine with great friends and family...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try help with aches and pains, I've given hundreds of massages/treatments in the past few years, and I'm happy to teach my skills or help out if someone is in need.
I'm not too bad in a kitchen too, and I make a good cup of tea.
