Hello! My name is Jess - I'm 26yo, and I'm Greek Australian living in Melbourne. I work in the disability and education field, as a support worker and teachers aid.
I'm leaving things for the rest of '17 to travel around Europe on my own! I've previously travelled parts of Western Europe & Greece, but this time I'm going to focus on Eastern Europe.
I am a very respectful, passionate, easy going person. I love live music, animals, festivals, exploring, learning, and anecdotes. I'm an enthusiastic (albeit arguably terrible recipe follower) cook, and lover of food.
I enjoy boardgame afternoons with a good glass of red wine, and wandering around unfamiliar places

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be in travelling around Europe / Eastern Europe and looking to meet and connect with people while couchsurfing. When I get back to melbourne I'll be incredibly willing to open up my home & spare mattress :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never been couch surfing before, due to the type of travels I've had in the past. I think it's such a great way to meet likeminded people, to share, to make friends, create experiences and connect with people - whilst visiting new places. I'm really excited, and i think it will be a really wonderful way of travelling, and connecting with people.

Interests

I enjoy gardening - Although I don't have a green thumb, I love being outside in the garden. I love music, wine boardgames, card games, singing, dancing, and swapping stories. Walking is my most favourite way to experience a new place.
My idea of a perfect night would be sitting at a quiet bar with friends, eating and having a few drinks till the early hours of the morning :)
