I am a cheerfull and kind person. I think smiles and friendliness are free so I don´t understand why some people is nasty with other people they don´t know. I like to meet new friendly people and to talk with them about their countries or cities, interests, ways of live, hobbys, etc. I think you grow a lot yourself by deeply talking with other people.

I studied Chemistry and then I did a PhD in Plant Biology, what I really loved. I also love travelling so I try to combine both passions. I worked and lived in Málaga, Vancouver, Shanghai, Ghent, Raleigh and Bordeaux. I also love the sun and when I am living in a not-sunny place, I really miss it.

I like reading, movies and music. I specially enjoy attending to concerts and music festivals. And I also really like eating, both the soup I ate million times already or discovering new tastes.

I try to live as close as possible to my principles, what I have to admit that is not always easy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that there is no comparison about visiting a place just as a tourist or staying with a local, visit places that you would never visit if they don´t tell you, immerse in the culture... So I want to visit places in that way and help some others to do the same in my city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many different kinds of music and I like to discover new ones. I have a frustration: despite I speak fluent English I can not understand songs in English.

As my sister says, I like movies and books where nothing special happeds, just everyday life. I also like movies, books and series with more action (but not only antion). I like a lot Spanish movies (something that is not so usual because many Spanish people prefers Hollywood movies, but in general I don´t).
